Outputs and activities
The project will deliver a number of outputs and activities. These include:
- a comprehensive research design, building on the ‘distended case study’. This will enable us to understand the complexity of the differences in discussions around ‘digital sovereignty’
- field trips to five world regions. In each region, we shall engage with different stakeholder groups (technical community, academic, diplomatic, private sector, civil society, et cetera.)
- academic and practitioner workshops, in both traditional academic settings as well as at I* workshops
- publications and reports, including one academic article, one complete draft manuscript of an edited volume, and field trip reports
- learning modules, including delivery of at least one MSc level course on ‘digital sovereignty’ for postgraduate students in the social sciences, and one online short course designed for future diplomats.
